My Lady's Hands

These hands I will honour.
These hands I will hold.
These hands I will kiss
for all their goodness.
And every time you go away,
taking a little holiday,
these hands do I miss
for how much they make
me feel such bliss.

The Kisser

When I was feeling melancholy,
a lady met me by the sea,
looking at me saucily.
My mood was like the salty brine.
She kissed me quick with lips like wine.
I was lifted like a tidal wave.
Hand in hand, we ran to a cave.
Like the waves that smack the shore,
I kissed my love a whole lot more.
Then, on the sand I made her roar.

The Lady In My Castle

She walks slowly, stepping softly,
like feathers falling, floating down
the long, steep stone steps,
dropping her bright white night-gown,
wearing nothing in perfect lighting,
reflecting the light of brilliant day.
Her lovely hips do gently sway,
and my eyes cannot look away.
She takes me out of my stasis,
and into her oasis
when I look upon her face,
filling the void in this place
with the gentle touch of her grace.
I see in her smile her love for me,
and in my heart I am free,
for forever I shall be
with my immortal lady
in this castle by the sea.

The Nymph

A wood nymph waded in a pool.
Under her spell, I fell like a fool.
Her body nimble, like a thimble,
my heart felt weak; I did tremble.
The fairest creature in the land,
a gentleman, I took her hand,
and placed a ring on her finger.
Then she yanked me in to swim.
Oh, I felt her perfect skin.
We quickly kissed -- then a twist.
I was enveloped by a mist.
Filled with vertigo,
I woke in a meadow.
Did I care? Au contraire.
My naked nymph was standing there.
She helped me up. We drank a cup
of wine; I felt fine, out of time.
We made love under the moonshine.

Under Your Command

I’m in a trance, a man who can’t
stop staring at you, sitting there,
undressed on your chair; wiggling,
jiggling, as you glance over here,
sipping white wine, and I feel fine,
for I know that your heart is mine.
Like a Greek goddess,
you are truly divine,
and make my face shine,
like the star that you are.

Love Underground

I recall riding the subway
on our honeymoon in May,
the crowded car packed full
with lonely-faced people,
but my heart began to soar
when we walked out that door,
hands in pant pockets,
mine in yours, yours in mine,
our hearts both beating in time
as we passed the cello players,
hearing their heavenly songs,
then stepping up the stairs
to a bright sunlit street,
to the place where I knew there
was no one anywhere
I would rather be with.
Then in the Inn, alone again,
we exploded with bliss.

The Sirens Of Scopuli

When my ship was sinking,
I saw seven Sirens singing,
standing naked by the sea.
I never saw such beauty
in all my years of duty.
When my men all drowned,
I too went down to sleep
into the bottomless deep,
but one Siren had mercy.
From her sisters she broke free,
and swam to rescue me.
Now I live alone with her
in a place where no one weeps.

Two Hearts

Like two tangled chords,
we hold each other tightly,
Like the singing of a sword,
we talk at night intimately.
Like the dew of the dawn
we kiss each other passionately,
and in a tent on our lawn,
after a monstrous fight,
we made love late at night,
the full moon shining bright,
our bodies filled with light.

Spontaneous

Walking with my chatelaine,
we were caught in a cloudburst of rain.
Our clothes were soaked to the bone.
She demanded that we go home.
But when I gave her a kiss,
a smile formed on her lips.
She ran into a thicket and stripped,
and said: Come to me, my cricket!
Then on the grass we did it.

Winter Sports

When I tore her grey gown,
my darling did frown,
even as my hand slipped down
the open space that I made.
Then she knocked me over
in the fresh-fallen snow,
and although I did shiver,
my darling made my heart quiver,
when I caught her and kissed her
on the bank by the river.

The Frozen River

Take my hand and hold it tight.
Kiss me in the fading light.
Believe that we might fly away,
if we twirl together while embraced.
I’ll take you to a wondrous place.
We’ll elevate to a higher state.
When we touch without our gloves,
our hearts will resonate above
just like when we make love.

The Wild Country

Fragrance of flowers in the air,
white apple blossoms in your hair,
eyes like jewels precious, so rare.
Into them I could forever stare.
I place my hands around your waist.
Your sweet kisses, your naked embrace,
make me taste paradise in this state.

Lady Of The Eternal Night

In the ocean we swim;
a love spell she spins,
then stretches on the sand,
wearing nothing but a tan.
Her mouth tastes so sweet.
In her I am complete.
Chilled by a mistral,
we return to our castle.
I no longer fear I that am dead.
I could spend forever in her bed.

The Faerie Seduction

I fell in love with a faerie.
Her flaxen hair was lovely.
She said yes, and we got married.
In bed she made me crazy.
I thought she truly loved me, so
I chased her across the Prairie.
But I wasn’t thinking clearly, no.
When her silver wings stopped beating,
she vanished, and left me shivering
in the freezing wind and falling snow,
and I did not know the way to go
home, and to this day I still roam,
wandering alone, looking for my love.

The Singing Chatelaine

My darling is a starling
singing a new song each morning.
I am a man undone
when she undresses like the Sun,
giving rise to a yearning,
an unending burning.
Her body is a river,
and I am the receiver
who will drink her forever.
To me, there is none fairer
than she.

The Lady On The Sand

I see a lady on the sand,
skin so soft, a perfect tan.
Curves like waves that smack the shore,
her beauty makes a sailor roar.
Long hair sparkling in the sun,
I see her smile and am undone.
Eyes shut tight, asleep like a lamb,
I think that I could be her man.
When she wakes and looks at the moon,
I will serenade her with a tune.

Love Intoxication

It’s no exaggeration.
I’m drunk like a skunk,
overcome like a monk
inebriated
with love from above.
Your body is a tsunami,
completely engulfing me.
I feel like I’ve drunk a bottle
of dandelion wine,
or a jug of moonshine.
I feel free, so fine
when I move in time
with you, I do.

My Chatelaine

In haste I took the midnight train,
and sat beside my chatelaine.
We looked out the window pane,
the full moon lighting the plain.
My arm slid around her waist,
our hearts beating at the same pace.
With her sweet voice in my ear
although our future is so unclear,
and a day of doom draws near,
when making love we lose all fear.

Two

I saw two lovers standing in a field,
embracing beneath a dying tree,
the gentleman looking upon his love,
to him more innocent than a dove.
He listened carefully to her speech,
then placed his hands upon her cheeks,
and though I know not what was said,
he kissed her soft and tenderly.
They made love in the grass hurriedly.

Love Reflection

I watch my lady in the mirror,
slowly disrobing in light so clear.
To me there is no one more dear.
Though I fell low like the tide,
she came and knelt by my side.
Like the clouds that fill the skies,
mystery I see in her eyes.
She is Queen of the maidens
who lifts my heart heavy-laden.

Lovers in Paradise

Both suntanned, hand in hand
they stand on soft white sand
beneath a palm tree,
naked by a crystal sea.
The days pass by, cloudless skies,
gentle breeze, summer heat,
waves crashing, laughing, splashing,
making love late each eve.
Deserted island paradise.

Under the Sheets

She kisses my lips like sweet cherry pie,
and I feel bliss, like a star in the sky.
She touches me softly; her soft skin
unravels me, and I am in ecstasy,
like flower petals floating in the wind.
I hold her tightly, and suddenly,
like a white swan swimming
across a still pond at dawn,
she listens to me silently,
and looks at me lovingly as only
a Princess would to her true love,
our bodies melded together
like fingers inside a golden glove.
